《結構化學》主要報道晶體學，量子化學，藥物、材料和催化劑等領域物質性能與結構關系的文章。報道的內容涉及有機化學、無機化學、合成化學、結構化學、材料科學、藥物化學、晶體學、理論化學等學科中的微觀物質結構與性能關系的研究成果或階段性成果。與此同時本刊也報道用波譜等物理研究方法解析物質結構、闡述物質結構與性能關系的論文。《結構化學》的主要欄目有：一、綜合論述——主要報道上述領域的綜述性文章； 二、通訊——簡要而快速地報道上述領域有較重大意義的創新性研究成果，內容限2頁之內；三、研究論文——主要報道上述領域的最新成果或階段性研究成果。

Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry mainly reports articles on the relationship between material properties and structure in crystallography, quantum chemistry, drugs, materials, and catalysts. The content of the report covers the research results or milestones of the relationship between the structure and performance of microscopic substances in disciplines such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, synthetic chemistry, structural chemistry, material science, drug chemistry, crystallography, and theoretical chemistry.
